Baltimore County Public Schools: Using Innovative Public-Private Partnerships to Accelerate Change

In this DMC case study, school leaders can learn school district communications best practices and tactics for developing partnerships with industries in the private sectors. Dr. Joe Hairston, superintendent of Baltimore County Public Schools, created an innovative partnership to align the goals of industry with the goals of the district to boost "STEM" - science, technology, engineering and math education, in the Baltimore County Public Schools. Hairston's groundbreaking partnership is predicated on collaboration and continuous improvement.
